ABOUT  CareFRONTING - NIGERIA
CareFRONTING NIGERIA is a non-governmental, non-religious, not-political and a not-for-profit making organisation assembled in the year 2000 but was formally registered with the Kaduna State Ministry of Youth in December 2004, Kaduna North Local Government And the Federal Ministry Of Women Affairs in 2006(Ref: FMWAIWA/389/1, 10th July 2006) and with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).

CareFRONTING NIGERIA is based in Kaduna. Carefronting - Nigeria is an assemblage of individuals from different organization with varied social works background. Some members of the team are members of Alternatives to Violence Project (AVP). Carefronting has been involved in peacework since 1998 and was prominently involved in the Red Cross/AVp project across twelve states viz;Kaduna, Kano, Plateau, Nassarawa, Kwara, Oyo, Osun, Lagos, Rivers, Delta, Anambra and Enugu States from 2000 - 2006 and anchored the project for AVP in Nassarawa, Plateau, Kaduna and Kano states in Northern Nigeria.  Some are pathfinder international trained HIV/AIDS home base careers and we have clergies and nurse educators in the team and women Literacy experts.

We have trained facilitators and Volunteers in the States we have worked and can mobilize our network to reach across the geo - political zones, we have about 22 active trained facilitators in Kaduna that are quite experienced in different aspects of social works, that can always be relied on.

VISION
A peaceful society free of all forms of violence, discrimination and abuse and to promote full participation of youths and women in all sectors of National development.

MISSION
Working towards protecting and promoting women, youths and children in all sectors of national development and peace building through the empowerment and integration of all especially youths, in the development process of the nation in all sector and at all levels.

SERVICES
Advocacy, sensitizations (media), counseling, training, capacity building, research, publications and consultancy.

OBJECTS
To promote full participation of women and youths in all sectors of national development.
To increase awareness on the need and importance of "girl child education", the welfare of Teenage mothers (who are school drop outs), basic health training, HIV/AIDS advocacy and awareness etc.
To promote self-reliance in women and youths through skill acquisition trainings.
To advocate for gender rights as binded by national and international conventions/bi lis.
To carry our research and publications on conflict resolutions and gender related issues.
To organize workshop, seminars and conference, on matters related to our objectives.
To train people on promotion of peace i.e. non-violent interventions, non-violent communications, mediation, alternatives to violence, conflict resolution etc.

To support, collaborate and network with agencies and organizations that have similar objectives.

ORGANISATIONAL CAPACITY
CareFRONTING NIGERIA organogram has a nine (9) member Board headed by a chairman. The board serves in advisory position with particular regards to policy matters. An executive committee made up of operational office staff in charge of the day-to-day administration includes the Project Coordinator, Admin Secretary, Accountant, Project Officers, Executive Director, Director of Finance, Director of Health programmes, project officers, manager programmes and Director of Admin. Who all volunteer their time and experience but we have three paid staff and an NYSC member.
